Network support team expansion

Brett Wickenden has been appointed as Business Customer Support Manager, leading the charge in customer service and helping to find quicker and more efficient resolutions to costumer issues.

He brings a wealth of experience, working across the UK improving IT departments for the likes of Manchester City Council, the DVLA and the NHS. After returning to Jersey in 2019 he took on the role as Head of IT for Jersey Police, supporting 24/7 operations and the role out of SMART policing that delivered digital capabilities and efficiencies for police officers while away from the station. Outside of daily work, Brett has extensive experience in app development, building the Fynd platform that used a mixture of GPS technology and augmented reality to help people find their friends at busy events.

We asked Brett his thoughts on the appointment: “Reducing the number of outstanding tickets and helping customers find solutions to their IT problems as quickly as possible are my two priorities in this new role.

“In recent months, I’m proud to say we’ve almost halved the number of outstanding tickets, which is testament to the hard work and dedication of the whole Service Operations Centre team.

“I am looking forward to continuing the great work we have been doing together, achieving some great results so we can reach Sure Business’ aim of being best in class.”
