Sure Business attends HPE Discover Frankfurt 2022

HPE Frankfurt conference

“The HPE conference has presented us with valuable opportunities for networking and gaining the very latest in edge to cloud technologies. The content of this year’s conference was full of innovative new solutions. I was particularly interested to hear the HPE executives talk about new HPE announcements, strategies for modernising your enterprise and real solutions for today’s hybrid world."

Paul Acton, Group Chief Business Officer

Secure connectivity, hybrid cloud, data governance and sustainability were top of the agenda at the HPE Discover Event in Frankfurt in December 2022.  The 20,000 strong event boasted leading-edge professionals across both the guestlist and speaker selection. Representing Sure Business was Paul Acton, Group Chief Business Officer, Group Professional Services director - Joe McCusker, Mark Jarvis – Cloud Services Manager and Jonathan Storey, Senior Infrastructure Engineer who made the most of the stellar guest list, networking with guests and speakers alike, to build key future relationships.

Delivering leading edge thinking and technologies to our clients is a key driver for us at Sure Business, so the team were keen to learn first-hand about the latest insights and trends in secure connectivity, hybrid cloud, AI and unified data analytics.

“The HPE Discover Conference once again presented us with the latest innovations and insights into future technology, says Joe McCusker, “I was particularly impressed by their new solution, HPE Green Lake, that features hybrid cloud leadership with new cloud services, ecosystem growth, and expanded global availability. This would allow our customers to run on-premises the same container run-times they use in the public cloud across their hybrid cloud. This would give them both flexibility and the right level of security for their data capture. I am excited to see how this could fit into our solutions going forward”

Sustainability is a force for good—and business value. Enterprises that link digital transformation and sustainability are 2.5 times more likely to be among tomorrow's strongest performing businesses. “With sustainability high on corporate and IT agendas, it is encouraging to see this feature as a natural partner for digital transformation programs,” said Mark Jarvis,” There were some insightful examples of sustainability in practice – from optimising your hybrid cloud environment and harnessing AI to address sustainability targets, to exploring the broader environmental, social and governance issues”.

Paul Acton said, “The HPE conference has presented us with valuable opportunities for networking and gaining the very latest in edge to cloud technologies, “ The content of this year’s conference was full of innovative new solutions. I was particularly interested to hear the HPE executives talk about new HPE announcements, strategies for modernising your enterprise and real solutions for today’s hybrid world.

“In 2022, HPE invested four billion into their company to make sure everything they offer is available as a service. This really aligns with us at Sure Business, and our ethos of enabling businesses through technology. As we look to 2023, I am looking forward to taking this message to bring more efficient solutions and make them accessible to all our clients.”
